OUR HISTORY
Superior Performance Auto, originally known as Swedish Performance and Parts, had its start in October of 2011 when Saab Mastertech, Kevin Mulcahy, opened a part-time car repair and part sales business in his own backyard.
The name Swedish Performance and Parts originated from the owners 20 year background in Saab and the company’s start as a Saab Auto Repair Shop.
In 2014, Swedish Performance and Parts expanded to a full time business and was joined by Kevin’s son as an additional technician.
Over the next two years the company continued to grow and in January of 2016 moved to its current storefront property in Wendell, North Carolina. With it’s new opening, the company increased in staff members as well as expanded into car sales, additional services, and branched out to work on all European vehicles.
Since then the Company has continued to grow and develop, gaining a larger audience within the local and state community. With its increasing growth and expansion into servicing all makes and models Swedish Performance and Parts developed into the company’s current name Superior Performance Auto. As of 2021 the company has also expanded with the addition of another technician as well as an intern.
